I-864 Questions

I am in the process of completing the I-864 forms for my wife and step child. I had already submitted 2 petitions for each one. My wife was approved but waiting on a response for the child.

Question 1 - In part 2 on the I-864 will I use my address as her mailing address or hers? She still lives in the Phillipines.

Question 2 - In part 3, as I had mentioned, I believe I will be doing 2 visas, 1 for my wife and 1 for my step daughter. With that said, I only check box 8 right?

Question 3 - I will check box (a) and (b). The household size is 2 on this form. Then for the I-864 for the step daughter, I will do the same correct?

Her address is her address. Same for the daughter's separate affidavit.

Yes, just check box 8 on each of the I-864 forms. You'll need one for each. Don't list any family members below in section 9.

In the household size calculation for you wife, you are a, she is b and the stepchild is d, so a household of three. For your step daughter you are a, the daughter is b, and your wife is c, for the same household of three.

I suggest you fill out and save the one for your wife, then simply alter it as needed and re-save for the step child. You'll pay only one $88 fee but need two affidavits and I recommend two sets of supporting documents to go with them.
