Yup! That makes most of us now transfers. I got a the oficial letter from USCIS saying that my case had been transfer to the Nebraska Service Center. Has anyone had an experience with this center?

All we can do is hope something will happen.

Just to pass the time and make the wait a little easier.. Why dont we share a little about what we are looking forward to?

And to keep it short.. I came to US to study, met the love of my life and married him. I love my parents and never wanted to leave without them, so my dream was always to bring them to live with me. When I finally got my citizenship I was so happy, beyond ecstatic about bringing my parents and have them close. Right before I applied to bring them over, my sister who had not been back home for 8 years decided to visit my parents. On the second day of their vacation with my parents, they got into a serious car accident that claimed the life of my mother. While I will never understand why this happened so close to having her with me, everyday that passes is a torture knowing my dad is there alone waiting for this process to end. I count the days to having him here, enjoy all the things I wanted to do with both of them and resume our life together.

Hard times only makes us stronger.The time will pass and soon we will have our dear persons with us!

I am so sorry for your loss I can only imagine the pain and heart aches. Hope you get to be together with your dad soon.

On October 22, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing.

so, its in new Orleans now.

Ellen, it seems that NBC is now transferring their I-130s to the local offices. I am not sure though if this is a good thing for us or not.Of course, we can only hope it is good

Let's hope for positive results . I got the same notice that today they transferred our cases to our local office, that means in Honolulu for us.

I have the same status like yours when I checked online today and I received the Official Transfer Notice on Monday said that my application will be transfer to Nebraska Service Center from NBC. I called NCSC today and the first representative was so nice that he forwarded me to Tier 2 because he can't give me more information regarding my application. When I spoke with the Tier 2 he told me " Your I-130 application is in transit to NSC and you have a long way to go before approval because approval for petitioning parent(s) is up to a year " I am disappointed of what he said but all I can is to wait again. sigh....
