Here is the official information to which Just Bob was referring. You may wish to read it over as well if you think it might be a consideration in your decision about whether or not to become a US citizen. I decided that even if I ever did return to Canada and live there the rest of my life I would still want to keep my US citizenship as the benefits outweigh the liabilities. Besides, I like to think of myself as a citizen of North America - not just Canada or the US (though I highly doubt I will ever add Mexican citizenship to the mix so I guess it is really North North American :lol: ) :
