No photocopies!

Hi all. So I became a member of VJ after I sent in the I-130 for my husband. I had no idea about NVC or anything for that matter and DID NOT make any photocopies of anything I sent in. I was also in France at the time and filed out my employment history by memory BUT I worked one day at a retail store to make extra cash and HATED it, so didn't come in the next day blah blah blah I didn't include that four hours of my employment on my history. I obviously want to (and have to) add this to my employment history at the NVC stage and am sure this will result in a RFE or some sort of questioning.

I guess my question is after having sent the files to USCIS is there any possible way to get copies of what I sent in??

(who am I kidding right?)

You can send in ammednments at any time to the USCIS or NVC, theres noting to say you cant.

They wont send you copies of what you've sent in - unless you do request something from the Freedom of Info Act, and Im not sure it applies to your case just yet.

sorry about that, in the furture you need to make two, or three sets of the same copies,just one gets lost, you know what you sent, the form G-884 is a request for your documents to be return,be sure to read the instructions, the form needs to be notorized you have to ask what documents you want returned to you, good luck,

LOL I made 3 sets of copies but............. I sent original to USCIS
