Hi,

We are in the process to file AOS. I have few questions if someone can help me with.

1) What name should we use in the application? We want to change my wife's name after marriage who is the sponsor. I am not sure how long will it take for her to get it changed on SSN. Can someone please tell me what should we do here?

2) What is Alien number? I dont think i received any Alien number but i am not sure? Can you please tell me where do i find it on my I-94? Is it the one on the back of my I-94 which starts with A?

EVERYONE that immigrated has an Alien Number.

It is on your visa or on your NOA 2 from your I-129F or you can find it on your I-94 writen in pen or pencil by the POE officer.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
