2 Questions About Moscow Interview

1. My wife's son has an interview in Moscow. The date of his interview is 6 months and 1 week from the date he had his medical exam in Moscow. Will they accept this exam for his K-2 visa, or will he have to travel again to Moscow to repeat it?

2. The Moscow consulate mailed a packet as to what documents to bring to the interview. Strangely it said that his mom must also bring the same documents about herself. Is this a mistake (i.e. simply a form letter), as his mom is already married to me, living in the USA, and has a green card? Her K-1 interview was in February, where she already gave the consulate these documents. This interview is only to receive her son's K-2 visa.

Thanks
