Interview Schedule at NVC

Last week when I got my CC at NVC I asked the operator about when they schedule the interview dates. They told me they schedule interviews during the second week of every

month.

my question is, is this week of 6th-10th the second week of December? Should I expect to get an interview date this week?

It will depend on how busy your particular consulate is. If it is not a particularly busy consulate you may well receive notification in December for a January interview. Some consulates (like Montreal) are severely backlogged with filers that have July NVC completions STILL waiting for interview dates.

I'm sure someone from your location will have more detailed information for you.

BTW the "We only schedule during the second week" story is the standard NVC reply; we received notification the last week of the month.

Are you serious?? Is there no one that can be contacted to find out what's going on? Can their senator or congressman inquire and help?

Ooops sorry it's up to eraly August now, still ridiculous though.

Posting of dates is ridiculous...one month they may post on the prescribed date but the next it could be the last week of the month. If you believe you are scheduled...CALL. They will tell you straight up. Good luck.
