Move to another state for work

Hi everyone here at VJ,

I have a question to ask. Please, forgive me if this question was already asked and answered before. Just point me in the right direction and I'll take a look.

I know that if I move, I have to let USCIS know about it within 10 days. I have a 2-year GC. I have about another year or so to go before filing I-751 during the typical 90-day window.

My question is, if I move to another state to find work, but the current state is still where my USC wife would live, until, say, when I get settled with a job in the new state, do I still need to report it? Also, I will definitely travel back and forth, but can I still file for I-751 in the current state? Or once I report the change of address, I must file in the new state?

change of address form AR-11 YOU CAN change it uscis on line,file the 1-751 your new address, the 1=751 you can't file before the 90 days or thay will send it back to you,if you need more information on the ar-11it's all on the form,

We were in the same type of situation. Earlier this year (April) we were relocated to another State. We were living in temporary quarters but still retained ownership of our house in FL. We only recently found something permanent so I have not long sent in the change of address.
