This is my first post and I start this with bad news. My fiancee filed a I-129 and after a long wait (almost 5 months) we got a RFE.. our biggest concern is USCIS sent a notification to his mailing address but he just moved. Since he is in the navy and just moved a couple of days ago he doesn't have a current mailing address. He tried calling to USCIS but didn't get a proper answer of what to do. We didn't expect an expiration date for the RFE and we are close to the deadline and we still don't know what to do. Is it better to wait until we get a mail to his old address or keep trying (and losing our patience) calling USCIS?

I am not sure what deadline you are talking about? You say you only got the email about the RFE a couple of days ago; you usually have 60 or 90 days to reply to it. If your fiancee hasn't got mail forwarding set up from his old address, best thing to do would be to contact the people who live there now and ask them to send any mail on asap, maybe to a friend, family member or his current navy base office.

Actually I'm confused about this. I've been reading in forums that once you get a RFE they give you 30 days to reply the request. Thanks for your response!

How long ago did you get the RFE and you are right there is 30 days to reply. Like was stated before try and get someone to contact the residence of his old place and see if you can get the mail forwarded. He really should have had a forwarding address especially with a petition pending. Hope it all goes well for you and you get this sorted.
