Thank You Safroot, now since I am already over my 3 years can you give me any info on the walk in FP? is there somewhere closer than the Bronx? the appointment is 8am ( means I have to leave here by around 4.30/5 am and daughter would have to miss a day of school, so if there is somewhere closer that I can get to that would be wonderfull.

if you are over the 3 years since your permanent residence date, then i think you will be ok doing a walk in especially that your Biometrics date is far and you filed on Dec 1st. that's from my experience reading a lot of posts from other VJ users who did an early biometrics and it didn't affect their application again as long as you are over the 3 years residency. Regarding the biometrics location, if i were you i would go to the one nearby to your location and try to do a walk in there, that way you will have nothing to loose and if they say that you have to do it at the location stated in the NOA, then at least you tried and you know that you have to go there. Again that's just my opinion and that's what i would do and it's not based on any experience or any professional advice smile.gif

12/27/2010 Received the Biometrics appointment letter. Appointment on 01/06/2011

01/06/2011 Biometrics Done

01/28/2011 Received the interview letter, Scheduled for 02/15/11 at San Francisco, CA

02/15/2011 Passed the Citizenship Interview, Thanks god

03/09/2011 I received my Oath letter scheduled for 03/23/2011 in Oakland, CA

03/23/2011 Finally became a US Citizen, it was a great Experience for the Oath Ceremony in Paramount Theatre.

03/24/2011 I applied for the Passport at San Francisco Passport Agency

03/25/2011 I received the Passport, FINALLY US Citizen, thanks god :-)

My wife and I are applying together, so I'm probably going to stick to the date on the notice. Do you know if kids are allowed at the biometrics and interview appointments?

I did the walk in today at the Seattle office. My wife is due any moment so i wanted to get this out of the way asap. Of course, the date I was given for the biometrics is 01/26/2011 which is right before the due date.

Was there at 745am and explained the situation to the information counter. They told me wait when the fingerprint section opened at 8am. Once the counter was opened, I walked up and explained my situation and the clerk told me that she would take my form but there was no gurantee that there would be availability. At about 10am when I was trying to decide if I should just leave, my name was called. Fingerprinting got done in 10 mins.

To answer your question Sarhan, there were many couples there with infants, toddlers, kids etc so you should have no problem. I also noticed that if you have an appointment for that day, it doesn't matter what time you get there cause it's on a first come first serve basis. Spoke to this guy who has an appointment at 10 am but was there at 745 and he was among the first few when the counter opened.

Thanks for the info countmein! It will be interesting to see if your application will go faster because you did your walk in. I'm going to wait until our appointment on the 26th. Thanks for the info countmein! It will be interesting to see if your application will go faster because you did your walk in. I'm going to wait until our appointment on the 26th. What is weird is that my wife and I both received an email notification at the same time. She received her appointment letter on Monday and I'm yet to get mine :bonk:

Well, I just got my letter today! Please someone update my FP date to 1/26/11. It is the same time and date as my wife. I wonder if we will receive the same interview date!
