Prbelm to mention in AOS that I lost job on11/23?

Since I am here on an L1 Visa I was just wondering if it would cause a problem to mention that I lost my job on the 23rd?

As far as I know the L1 visa is dependant on having work in the US?

We have our package together and will send it out tomorrow.

1. They will find out when you lost your job... you can't hide it from them.

2. You probably have a grace period after ending your status anyway.

3. Overstay is forgiven/irrelevant for immediate relatives of US Citizens when adjudicating AOS petitions.

EDIT: I seem to recall that you said you were adjusting based on an immediate relative, but maybe I remember wrong... On what basis are you adjusting?

Yes, you are correct we married in April this year.

Ideally we would have been married for 2 years prior to the AOS application.

But that is history now...
