Hey i was just wondering my fiancee has her interview September 6 in Manila. I'm sure things will go well and she will receive her visa to come to the USA shortly afterwards. My question is, i am returning to the philippines to fly back with my fiancee to the states so i was wondering can i get her plane ticket here or do i have to get it in the philippines. If anyone can let me know if i can go either way i would appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Mailed I-129F Packet 1/17/06 to TSC registered express mail. Was transfered to Cali.

Received 1/19/06.

Received Signed Return Receipt 1/22/06.

Check Cashed 1/27/06

Received NOA1 today 1/30/06 :-)

Received E-mail from USCIS Petition was approved on April 13, 2006

Received in the mail April 17,2006 NOA2

Received from NVC 5/4/06 Approval Notice. Petition was being forward to the Embassy in Manila :-)

Fiancee Received Packet 3 and Packet 4 together. She is to fill out Packet 3 and bring with her to the Visa Interview. Medical Exam scheduled for (8/30/06) and Interview Date (9/6/06) We are on our way.

Not to blow your bubble, but they advise us not to purchase tickets before we know the result of the interview... that being said, you can either buy the ticket in the U.S. or in the Philippines.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

You can buy her ticket through agency in Philippines. Best one is ATTI Travel in Manila. Phone number is 63-2-875-1977. Email is attiph@yahoo.com. Owner is Ruby Montano. Very solid agency.

12/22/2006 - St. Luke's canceled medical in progress - required additional tests in Jan for upper respiratory congestion.

12/28/2006 - Interview Canceled because of congestion and cough during medical at St. Lukes

01/09/2007 - St. Luke's for 3 consecutive days of "sputum tests and finish medical"

01/10/2007 - St. Luke's for 3 consecutive days of "sputum tests and finish medical"

01/11/2007 - St. Luke's for 3 consecutive days of "sputum tests and finish medical"

01/12/2007 - St. Luke's for pulmonary exam - EVERYTHING CLEAR

01/15/2007 - St. Luke's for vaccinations and release of medical to USE

02/26/2007 - Interview APPROVED - 11+ months for K1 Visa

03/05/2007 - Visa in hand

03/05/2007 - CFO Completed

03/06/2007 - Arrived in Dallas

You can buy your tickets either in the US or Philippines. It is usually best to wait until after the interview since there could always be delays. Good Luck at the interview.

Checkout sidestep.com or airgorilla.com . I bought my tickets to India thru them and had no problems at all.

Met online April 2004

Went to Mumbai to meet Poonam Sept. 2004

Sept. 2004 thru April 2006 ongoing relationship

Went back to Mumbai April 2006

Engagement April 2006

Nov.-Dec. 2006 went to Mumbai
