I received this yesterday. This is the 2nd email for card production. why did I received a 2nd card production? What does this mean? HELP!! I've seen posts on here that it takes about 10 business days to get your card after the notice of production, so do I start counting from 1st notice or 2nd notice?

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On November 23, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results

listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current

processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

*Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov under Check Processing Times.

11-15-210 - Received call from congresswoman's office confirming request to expedite approved and EAD will be adjudicated in 7 business days and should received card 10 days after that. Also the I-485 has been moved to the next step to schedule interview too. Yeah - so happy!!!

11-19-2010 - Received email AP approved and EAD card in production.

11-19-2010 - Received interview letter - appt scheduled on 12-21-2010. :)

11-22-2010 - Received AP in mail

11-26-2010 - Received EAD in mail (Went on 11-29-10 for job interview and start on 12-6-10)

12-21-2010 - Went on Interview and was APPROVED!!!

If you search, you will see i have answered before that you will get 3 emails total. The first two are identical and the third will say they send you a notice. Count 10 business days from the first email.

EDIT: My crystal ball says you will get the card by Dec. 6.

:) You will get your AP within 6 business days after the first email, so don't freak out when it comes and the EAD doesn't!

I received my AP in the mail on the 22nd. :thumbs:

I'm sure you are accurate in your calculations and when I get the EAD on the 6th I will be doing my happy dance :dance:

Hey, as long as it's early, that's good! My prediction of 10 business days is the long prediction (expect it by then or sooner). Any earlier is a bonus! I'll be sure to give my crystal ball a good shining. Congrats!
