When I spoke to NVC a few weeks ago, she had my fiance's bday wrong by one day. It's obviously their error, as his passport is correct. She assured me it is an easy fix at London. We're ready to mail off packet 3 now.

Should my fiance call London or email them to sort out this mistake?

Thanks.

Yeah its ok NVC told me I must have the wrong case number cause I don't know how to pronounce her name.. her name is Chia Hsin (pronounced jah shin) And he said no .. that is not the name on file it is (Chia Hiss sin)

wow! lots of wong DOBs!!

I recommend e-mailing over calling most times when London is concerned. I don't think the number you call is actually the embassy - think it is some company the embassy hire to take these calls because any time you talk to the people on the end of the phone they refer to the embassy as 'they' and normally tell you to e-mail 'them' anyway.....

 Email is your best option when it comes to London. Take it from experience the one pound twenty a minute, our operators need assistance line is a waste of time and money.

I guess this is sort of close to this topic....I moved after my our visa was approved, while it was being transfered to NVC. Unfortunately, I haven't received a letter fron the NVC, saying they have received my case, but my fiance has already received Packet 3 from London. Should I call London and let them know that I moved? I don't know how to change it at this point in the process. If I should email them, I don't have a case number or anything, as I never received a letter from the NVC. What should I do? And what is the email address to use for the Embassy in London?
