Green Card and traveling?

I will have my Green Card interview soon, and hopefully they will give me one.

But I have some questions..

1. Once I get the GC, will I be allowed to fly back to the Netherlands again? Or will I have to fill something out before flying back? (I really want to go visit my family by now sometime! I've been here for almost a year without seeing my family)

2. This may be a bit of a silly question. When you come back and you have to go through customs, do you still have to stand in the "foreigners/tourists" line or are you allowed to pick the US citizens etc line?

1. yes, once you have your green card, you may travel freely

2. there is generally a 'citizens and residents' line. You may go through that line
