Guys, Just a couple questions if anyone can answer please...

Q 40 (h)

Due to my overstay - I would answer 'YES'?

Although it mentions 'voluntary departure' I was present for more than 180 days but less than 1 year. I actually left on my own accord, had no dealings or problems with immigration, I just got my plane ticket and returned to the UK.

I just want to clarify it really. Ive heard of voluntary departure and thought it was an option given by immigration.

Q 43

I have my SSN and card, I dont need a new one, so Ive ticked 'NO'. for 43b would I tick yes or no - slightly confused by that question.

Also for 'education - Ive only listed my college education - not the regular courses I did at school - is that correct?

THe wording on that question about voluntary departure is vague, I'd still answer 'yes' to prevent any presumption of misrepresentation - attach a separate sheet of paper if you'd like to explain your situation

You can keep the SS card you have, if you have written on it 'not vailid without DHS authorization' then you can have that removed once you enter the US on your immigrant visa.

I listed every educational institution since it asked for 'all'. Others did what you did and were fine

Thanks, yes, I'll 'star' it and attach a seperate piece of paper as you suggested. Id rather have to explain a dozen times over than be hit with material misrep.

I have several dr's letters to include along with it anyway.

q43b - Consent to disclosure - i can answer yes or no in this case cant i?

The last question unanswered is 43b - we put YES and we are also in your situation. She has SSN too.
