So after the high of having received my DS3032 from the NVC had abated and I had sobered up, I saw that they had used my wife's maiden to fill the DS3032. This is after we have gone through problems since our marriage to get her name changed and to also acquire a new passport in her marital name. Has anyone had such an experience and how did you fix it. I am thinking about calling on Monday and speaking with a supervisor. I do not want to go through the hassle of having to change things once she is here. I will appreciate your suggeston about fixing this situation. One will think that whoever is entering the data is able to differentiate between the maiden name and marital name : :bonk:bonk:

Non-issue, I didn't change my name until right before the interview, all my USCIS documents and NVC paperwork was in my maiden name. The visa will be issued in the name in the passport and the green card in the name in the visa - as long as the visa is in the name she wishes to use in the US, then she should be fine

But call if you'd like to settle your mind

Good luck

When NVC received our file, they introduced my husband's DOB wrong. We call and they just ask for a copy of his passport data page or copy of his birth certificate. We emailed them both copies and in a few days it was fix it. Not a big deal for us. Just email any document stating her actual name.

NVC entered my DOB wrong. Me too sent the DOB correction package (passport copy & birth certificate) to NVC and they corrected it.

Until the correction, I was unable to talk to NVC operator about our case since my DOB was wrong.

And petitioner & beneficiary name, DOB and NVC/CIS Case# are the required input to talk to an NVC operator.

All the submitted forms had her marital name. So I do not know what gives.

Good luck
