Document the income with tax returns (three if possible) and at least a couple current pay stubs. You'll also need evidence of US Citizenship or LPR status. Use a birth certificate, green card or US Passport data page.

We never had to send in tax statements for the petition and no pay stubs just proof of employment letter head stating full or part time and how long petitioner has worked there and yearly salary. Get it signed by petitioners HR or pay master/mistress or manager.

Pay stubs and tax returns are sent in with I-184 with I-485 AOS. Check the guides but we never did just using our experience and the instructions from 129F on USCIS site.

OOPs sorry with co sponsor I amn not sure but quite possible tax returns and pay stubs as they would want to know their financial status , Sorry
