Hello everyone,

I have a question today, one of my friend is planning to file I129 K1-VISA for her fiance who is currently living in a different country as a student. What are the requirements in this situation? Does the beneficiary need to be in his homeland at the time of interview ? I need some clarifications on that please.

Thank you.

Fahim

My fiance lives in another country too. The forms will ask you your citizenship but also which consulate you would like to use. So he can choose the consulate in the country where he is currently studying to go for interview. :)
