we did it after but you can do it at the same time though. whatever works really. just remember if you want a good answer always speak to a tier 2. if youre not bothered about what youre told at any time of day, just speak to a tier 1 !!

ours took a month from the service request which was a week after filing. as there was a ####### up with a so called specialist filing for us, he garnered us with an rfe which added id say about twelve days onto the decision.

any correspondonce you have with the uscis add your service request number and case receipt number into the subject line. its a tough wait, not really knowing if you qualify, we were given maybes and confirmations of expedite process for a few days, however we didnt know for sure what was happening til friday.

of course you can always inform your senators immigration liasison dept and ask them to trail it for you too. although ours was as much use as a chocolate fire guard!

but it doesnt hurt to have them on board.

i believe if you send the exp req in with the i130 you mark the envelope with a red dot, too. not a hundred per cent on that though. on the uscis site just search expedite. itll show you. i think they give you 3 optiona you can choose from the list too if need be. well, we got 3.

also remember the uscis will tell the beneficiary nothing on the phone. its all the petitioner which is frustrating.

i had a pm from him tonight. i think hes just got back! i know the whole process can get on top of us all and they just took time out to focus for a few days. im really hoping he has similar news tomorrow or this week as our requests we pretty much together in time, plus hes knocking the door for five months soon.

i did ask him if he went hunting towards the csc....but he didnt confirm or deny lol

My expedite request denied and approved normally in 70 days time! To me, it looked like a virtual expedite!

some are of the opinion that it can make the wait longer. if its genuine and you have strong evidence i cant see it being denied, but im only comparing it to cases i know of. i personally doubt it adds to the wait but nobody knows for sure i dont think. i mean if your wife had toothache and needed a filling, even a dentist letter probably wouldnt swing it. but in your case its somewhat more serious than that, so if i were in your shoes, its worth a shot as loto said.

i know loto, im surprised you didnt get yours but id say there was some underlying positive factor in your case however to get a speedy approval.

no worries my friend. as the lawyer told us and as we say here, in the letters, lay it on as think as possible.

we had 1 pulmonologist letter, 2 pages

3 other dr notes varying from 2 sentences to a page and a half.

and our own letter

all letters inviting uscis they can be supplied with hospital or medical records if need be. but letters are the most important.

The reason for my approval was so fast, VSC for July filers were approving under 90 days time.

CSC is taking 5 to 6 months for the regular approval process.

When you mail your package to Chicago Lockbox, it will be routed either to CSC or VSC. If you get VSC, you are lucky at this point of time.
