Hi everybody

My K1 visa was approved on october 15th. I payed the shipping fee and everything but my passport hasn't even been released by the consulate yet. Is this normal or is taking too long?

Me and my fiance have been anxious without knowing when they'll mail my passport.

It will probably be in the mail soon, but if you are worried, you can email the consulate and ask for the status. Have you already tried doing that? Maybe ask them what is the hold up.

It wasn't in Rio, but it took a while to get my visa, too. I wouldn't worry.
