I got RFE but no update yet

Hello guys

I got a RFE from uscis on july 29 and we sent it to uscis after all evidence papers done then they got our evidence papers september,2 and they said we should wait 2 months after they received our evidence request from the uscis but there is no update or news yet sincwe they got our papers....

Do we have to call them or wait more ???

P.S its really has been a year i m waiting to be with my wife whats going on? why it takes forever?

What was the RFE? I guess to prove the marriage relationship and some secondary evidence.

Yes, it will take around 2 months to clear RFE after the RFE response.

Once it is cleared, you will hear the good news - Approval!

For some countries, the background check, relationship check etc. are little strict. That's the delay. Otherwise, normal I-130 processing time is 5 months.

Once it is cleared, you will hear the good news - Approval!

I believe (strongly) that as soon as this RFE is cleared, you will hear the approval, may be in less than 1 month time.

There is another guy - Samoray from Egypt. He had similar issue and he got his I-129F approved today.
