me and my wife are currently waiting on NOA2 and our question refers to what happens after we get the NOA2, we have read a lot of threads which talk about DS-230 that we have to submit to NVC and quite do not understand exactly if they need both original documents and copies of the originals. e.g birth certificates and marriage certificates or just the originals, also do we need to apply for duplicate original documents from our respective countries for the embassy interview or is the NVC going to send these forms in for us. we are trying to have everything ready ahead of time to avoid last minute rushes. thank you

You send the originals and a photocopy with the DS-230. You only have to send the pacakge to the National Visa Center in the USA. Once it is approved, the NVC forwards the orignals on to the beneficiary's Consultate. You do not need duplicates, as they are only sent to one place then forwarded on. The form is available at the immigration visa website..
