Hello

Sadly enough it has been a rough road for me on this long journey to be able to get married to my fiance, we finally got to the interview we were approved but than there was a hitch, they lost my Police letter from the Israeli consulate that was sent out on Aug 16Th/10. I had the Israeli consulate fedex the missing letter to Montreal and that was sent and signed by security in Montreal. I had e-mailed Montreal back to inform them about the tracking number as will as the fact that it had been signed for by the security officer. I have not heard anything back and that was three e-mails that I had sent to them. not sure what to do from here for everything is up in the air, any advice would be welcomed, :(:crying:

well i know that most embassies expect petitioners ( for any kind of visa ) to give them a couple of days to get back to them, like 3 work days of something of that sort.

hang in there and keep emailing

in dealing with montreal, i would have your fiance's senator/congressman liaison contact the consulate and have them (montreal) get their hands on it. with the way montreal operates, you have to hound them. i wouldn't suggest waiting very long at all - ultimately you will have to push them, and emailing - well you could do that for days and days and maybe you'll get a bs response after your 30th email. hope everything works out for you guys soon..ultimately - this is just a little hiccup and everything will be fine.

good news they are processing the visa now, yeahhhhhhhhhh, just found out!

never mind my comment then - awesome!

usually paperwork just sits in the mailroom!

Great news!

Montreal is know to take a loooong time to process additional information so I'm happy things are finally moving for you. Now you just need that visa in hand! Good luck!
