Visa processing in a different country

My wife will take her oath as a US citizen this October 27. She plans to submit the I130 right after she becomes a citizen. I am currently in the Philippines waiting for my petition however, I just got a job interview and if I get accepted by the Company, I will be assigned in Singapore. My question is, can I take my medical exams, schedule interview appointments in the US embassy in Singapore? I already sent copies of my Local Police Clearance, Marriage and Birth Certificates to my wife in the US to speed up the process.

Can someone show me links, previous posts or information regarding this process?

Thank you in advance!

I tried looking for information on the web if that is possible but I could not find any. But I do know that interviews should be done in the beneficiary's country of origin. Even if the beneficiaries are in the US they are required to go back to their home country and should be interviewed there when their case is completed.

Not necessarily in the country that you are from. I think in the form there is a question that is asking for Embassy where to process the visa, if your wife put Singapore then you can process your visa in Singapore as long as you are legally residing in Singapore (valid work permit or permanent resident) that means you will do your interview in Singapore. However, most people had advise to process the visa interview and all at their home country like in Philippines where results are more predictable and might be an advantage since you are from there.

I process my papers in Philippines while I was working in UAE. I came home to do the interview and went back again to UAE to end my contract since the visa has a validity of 6 months to enter US upon issuance.

Goodluck.

Interviews can be in the Applicant's country of residence but police reports are not needed until after the petition is approved and the case file is at the National Visa Center.

OP, PCC has expiry period. So, if the issue date is more than 1 year at the time of your interview, you need another PCC. Also, if you live more than 12 months in Singapore, you need PCC from there as well.
