I will tell you what I did, but we ended up not marrying there:

From the US, bring:

1. Your birth certificate

2. Letter from your employer stating your salary and how long you've worked there

3. Your Police Report - I used a State Report, because the FBI took too long to arrive

4. A copy of my baptismal certificate. You could bring a statement from your Imam

I went to the US Consulate in Casablanca to get a letter stating I am free to Marry. It took about an hour. I paid, I think $60.00

Then I went to Rabat. I needed copies of my papers - birth certificate, etcetera, plus a stamp from the market, presumably for them to mail things to another office.

Then I actually got the help of a local person, who knew where to take me. I can give you his name and number if you want. He brought me to a translator. While he translated my documents, I went to get my Free to Marry Document Stamped. Then we picked up the documents translated, and I went to the Ministry of Justice to apply for a Moroccan Police Report. I had to go back at the end of the day to pick it up.

I took all my documents to Oujda, because that was where I was going to get married.

Your fiance needs to find out what he needs to have ready there, or maybe someone else here can help you with this part. We weren't able to get this far in the process.

I know you will need to get a medical, along with your fiance.

In the end, you need to get documents translated back into English to apply for the visa.

Thanks ladies.... What does the statement from my Imam need to say?

It states that you are Muslim, because I believe on the marriage certificate it specifies your religion.
