I file 1-751. We received the 1 year extension of my wife name but not my daughter's name. Only one letter for one year extension. Does my daugther needs a letter also? They both file 1-751 on the same form together. They just received a letter each to take Biometrics.

Her status is already extended. If you do need the letter - then you can call the 800 number and see if they are willing to resend it. If not, you cna schedule an infopass appointment and get her passport stamped with the extension.

Your daughter should get a extension letter also. Mine did a couple weeks after mom.

I have the same situation as yours. I filed the I-751 for my wife and stepdaughter last month. I received my wife's NOA about a week after I mailed the I-751. After two weeks from the receipt of my wife's NOA I finally called the USCIS to get my impatient 21 year old daughter off my back. The lady at USCIS told me that my step-daughter would not receive a letter. She said that I should schedule an appointment with my local USCIS office and they would give me a letter for my step-daughter. I didn't feel comfortable with what she told me but I didn't argue with her and went ahead and scheduled an appointment through INFOPASS for October 18th. Don't make the same mistake I did and not take your wife's and daughter's passports to your appointment. We went to our local USCIS office twice this Monday and had the passports stamped.

My wife and step-daughter both received their biometrics appointment letters last week. We have yet to receive an NOA for my step-daughter but now she is happy since she has the stamp on her passport. I tried to get my step-daughter to cancel the INFOPASS appointment when we received her biometric appointment letter but she insisted on having some other proof that her permanent resident status had been temporarily extended and she did not cancel the appointment.
