Is TB test really required? & Shady CS review

My husband(K-1)had his medical exam in Bangladesh in August 2010 and we will be filing for AOS before November 2010. From my understanding, we only need to complete part 1,2 and 5 of the I-693. Part 2 includes information about the TB test. Is he required to get this again since we already have current chest x-rays? The civil surgeon here in the states administered the skin test, and of course it was positive and he needs the x--ray as most everyone from Bangladesh does. They are saying we have to get a chest x-ray with them and they will not accept the x-rays from Bangladesh even though they are excellent quality and only 2 months old. If we don't need the TB test again, what do we give the Civil Surgeon so that he can complete this section correctly????? Please help!

This leads me to my vent about our CS.......

I had called around to different Civil Surgeons in the Akron/Cleveland, Ohio area. I was told over the phone that it would cost me $150 max for the appointment with Dr. James E Martin of Summa Western Reserve Urgent Care (3913 Darrow Road, Suite 100, Stow, OH 44224). I took my husband to the appointment and they administered a full medical, which is not what we requested (and even told them numerous times what we needed), and handed me the bill of $487 which had to be paid in full upfront! Their staff were rude, uncourteous, and just downright nasty. If you are in Ohio, please do not use them and get ripped-off like we did. They also have no clue about immigration and are very unknowledgeable about it.

I'm considering to just pull my husbands records from that CS and find a new one, but I am starting to second guess myself on what we really need. I certainly don't want to pay another $487!

Please help! I'm feeling very taken advantage of.

I don't know about Bangladesh but it clearly states if you have had a medical in the last 12 months then you do not need another one, you only need to have your vaccination report DS 3025 transcribed over on to the I-693 part 1.2 and 5 signed off and put in envelope. I did that this week and never even met my doctor lol he took my vaccination record from my country Australia and I had given him the I-693 parts and he filled it in no problem. As many have said on here some CS just take you for a ride and want the cash. Cost me $50

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month
