We booked our trip to Montreal and we are staying for 3 nights. Does anyone have any fun activities or good restaurant suggestions while we're there?

Take a walk on Saint Catherine's Street - plenty to do there. The Old Port is always nice also, you can even go on a carriage ride on the town, and check out local street vendors. The night life is also amazing, most of the clubs are on St. Catherine's.

Have fun =)

We booked our trip to Montreal and we are staying for 3 nights. Does anyone have any fun activities or good restaurant suggestions while we're there?

We just got back from our weekend in Montreal (interview yesterday morning). Neither of us had been to Quebec before, so we arrived Saturday morning for a Monday interview. We stayed at Le Square Phillips, which was a great hotel (but I'm assuming you've got that part taken care of). My one restaurant recommendation would be this little 24-hour diner-type place called La Banquise at 994 Rue Rachel. As the American half of the relationship, it's quite rare for me to get a poutine, and this place makes a super mean poutine--check out their website for a menu of their multitude of poutine varieties. http://www.restolabanquise.com/

As far as other things to see, we went to the Olympic Park for a few hours and rode up the Observation tower to the top--what a view!

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I loooove to go to the Biodome each year. It's right in downtown Montreal, in the old Olympic complex. Really nice way to spend about half a day. If you like Greek food, I'd recommend hitting up Arahova for some amazing souvlaki and other types of Greek food.

You can find some great information/deals on this site: Tourisme Montreal

Definitely take one of the bus tours out of Dorchester Square on Boulevard Rene-Levesque. That's a great way to see the city. Link

And, ohmygosh, the cuisine. We ate in some of the most amazing restaurants on Rue Peel. *drool* Sorry I can't remember their names, though. :(

Have fun!
