On the New Delhi website it currently lists only one medical physician in New Delhi - Max Medcentre

http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/medical_report.html

On the NVC website it lists 2 medical physicians you can choose from - Apollo Hospital and Dr. NPS Chawla

I am confused by this discrpency. Should I assume the Embassy has changed their preferred physician to only ONE doctor - or should I trust the list given by the Department of State at the NVC website?

CR-1 Visa Was Approved :-)

Entry Date to USA: 2/3/2011

12-10-2012 - Sent off I-751 packet visa USPS

I751 Was approved - 10 Year GC was granted

N-400 Progress

4/10/2014: Package Mailed
4/11/2014: Package Received
4/14/2014: Notice Date

I know. They are confusing. For more clearification, contanct to VFS at infousdelhi@vfshelpline.com or +91-120-6611411 if calling internationally, and 0120- 6611411 for all callers within India.

I would make sure with them before scheduling appointment. You have plenty of time before interview to have medical done.

Return Completed I-864 : July 19, 2010

Return Completed DS-3032 by email : July 15, 2010

Receive IV Bill : July 23, 2010

Pay IV Bill: July 23, 2010

Receive Instruction Package: July 28, 2010

Sent DS 230 : August 19, 2010

Sign in Failed : September 15, 2010

Case Completed at NVC: September 16, 2010

Packet 4 Received: October 8, 2010

Medical Exam: October 30, 2010

Submission at VFS Office: November 9, 2010

Interview Date : November 22, 2010

Interview Result : Approved

POE & Arrival Date: JFK - December 23, 2010

Receipt Notice & Welcome Notice: January 21, 2011

Green card recieved: January 31, 2011

I called and found out that the Embassy website is correct. The two hospitals listed on NVC (Dpt of State) website are no longer correct, they have lost their ability to perform sanctioned medicals for the USA.

The only hospital in Delhi that can do it now is the Max Medcentre which is listed on the Embassy website.

Sep 1 2010: Interview Appt Letter Received

Sep 13 2010: Medical done.

Oct 4 2010: Visa approved

Nov 2010: POE.

Nov 29: Got SSN

Dec 2010: Got Green card
