I see your interview is on the 20th. Mine is on the same day as well, at 9 am. What time is yours??

I'm going for an IR1.

I'm planning on being at the Counsellate by 7am. If they turn me away saying I'm too early, so be it. But its better to be early at these things, I hate waiting in line.

Ok cool, we will see you there then. I heard there is a tim hortons not to far away in the matter of being turned away if needed. I should be there by 7am as well

Our appointment was for 08:00. We were in line at 06:36. I had to go back to the hotel 5 minutes before 07:30 to get something and the security guard letting people in told Dave it would cause less confusion if he waited for me before going in. So he waited for me and we were let in at 07:35, which is 5 minutes before Packet 4 told us to be there, so... still don't know. X)

Just reading on another post that you are not suppose to show up that early...it is saying bit earlier than 20 minutes before....confused

See the problem is that people start lining up very early. So lets say your interview is at 9am, there will be quite a lengthy lineup by 7am. Just getting through the line should take some time.

My interview is on the 20th so I'm just going based on assumptions and not on genuine fact.

Should be able to clarify the situation once I go through the process.

well we will go on the 20th and I will ask the security people to clarify it for us :)

Yes, please let us know once you've had your interview! We are wondering what to do too, we'll line up early if that's what will help us get in sooner, but if we don't need to, obviously we'd rather not, esp with young kids and cold weather...

Good luck guys and looking forward to your reviews!

I'm not sure how our experience compares to everyone else - but we were the first in line with an appointment time of 8:00 (K1 visa) On the day that we were there, they seemed to save all of the K1's till the last? so we ended up going in for our interview at around 12?

We showed up at 6:30am for a 9am interview. We wanted to be first in line and first to the interview and minimize the sitting around and waiting

Tim Hortons just around the corner but have someone save your position in line!

good luck
