There are several folks including myself have been waiting for a biometric appointment for a long time.

Anyone experienced that and got approved? Does Infopass work?

It seems that USCIS reps cannot be helpful when it comes to a particular case.

I have read some comments of applicants who had waited for a biometric over months.

Hi,

I know how you guys feel having to wait so long for the Bio letter. Many of us May filers went through the same. As for me, I got the Bio letter 73 days after the date of my NOA receipt. When I was done with the Bio appointment on August 10, we got approved about 4 weeks later without RFE or interview.

While I was waiting for the Bio letter was issued I called them like three times within 2 months to place a service request for the Biometrics. I also placed a service request by email. However, despite all what I did, it seems that they scheduled my Bio appointment when my ASC (Chicago) had appointments available. So I don’t know if my efforts really made any difference.

You might want take a look in the May thread to see what many of us did then.

For those of u interested in sending an email to place a service request with your Service Center. Here you are:

-California Service Center: csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov

-Vermont Service Center: vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov

Good luck everyone.

It is reassuring to know we are not the only ones. I've called for one service request. I guess I'll relax a little more and just have faith we'll get our bio notice when they get to it. We got our NOA on 7/28. I'm happy for those who got their cards already, but it made me nervous for myself. Patience is a virtue right? bleh.

I have read some comments of applicants who had waited for a biometric over months.

I waited for my biometrics for 3 months. I filed my I-751 in March and my biometrics was scheduled for June 10th and got approved July 17th. They are slow in scheduling them but they get approved pretty quickly after biometrics.
