I'm trying for a cautious optimism here... By searching the timelines, I saw some people (after May of this year) who were approved in 45, 47, 48 days from CSC. I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with apporvals this fast or faster from CSC? I'm not hoping for much, I just want to know what the chances are... And any post IMBRA fiasco CSC approvals yet? (Don't get me wrong, I want you guys to get approved fast, and you deserve to get approved well before me and my measely 08/01 receipt date, I'm just curious about what is actually going on over there in CSC land!) :luv:

timeline doesn't matter.

I don't think anyone knows what's going on over in CSC land or USCIS land for that matter. It's great to be optimistic and hope for the best. I would advise you prepare for the worst and a long wait, anything under that is a blessing. If you and your fiancee get it in your head that it's going to be a long wait you can prepare emotionally and your lives will be easier day in and day out. Good Luck!!

Hi SonicLiz,

I just read your post. I see u just got back from morocco. My fiancee is in Khemisset. I was there in april 2006 and wanting to go back in nov. I have not started the process for the k1 visa cuz im thinking to get a lawyer. Tarik, my fiancee, is thinking we should marry in morocco cuz he thinks its more of a guarantee for us not to get denied. we miss each other so much. i know u know the feeling.

Did you apply on your own or getting help from a lawyer?

Did you and ur fiancee discuss the k3 visa?

I dont meet to sound pushy or anything, im just desperate for a friend who is going thru what i'm about to venture and your the closest person i have found on here or anywhere else to the starting process.

At this point im so emotional about it all and i dont want to wait anymore to be with him. if, i was able i would move to morocco in a heart beat. i loved it there, the ppl, & the culture. i need a support group....LOL

Can we chat? i'm mistizagirl on yahoo

I would like to hear about your story....

Take care,

Elizabeth

I noticed some fast approvals too, I guess we're all hopeful, but I seen people with a March and Apr NOA1 date that didnt get approved yet too, so Im not sure how they are working it at CSC. My fiance is from Morocco too. I hope things will speed up for all of us especially the ones that have been waiting so long.

Elizabeth,

I'd be happy to chat with you about the K1/K3 thing, I talked to a lawyer about it. I'm on yahoo, or you can IM me but Im not sure how it works here.
