I am filling out form DS-230 item 33, which asks:

List below all educational institutions attended.

If the beneficiary did not complete his college education, should I:

a) Not include college education at all?

b) Include the information but in write "Incomplete" in the "Degree or Diploma" field?

If the beneficiary didn't complete it, talk to the beneficiary and fill it. It is that simple!

Hi Loto.

To clarify myself, the beneficiary is providing all of the information, but what I meant is that the person started but did not graduate (therefore, it is incomplete) from the program. So, should I:

a) Not include college education at all?

b) Include the information but in write "Incomplete" in the "Degree or Diploma" field to clarify that the person did not graduate?

You should still include the information, even though the beneficiary didn't graduate; it's part of their personal record.

If the beneficiary is not currently enrolled, I'd think you should write the month/year the beneficiary stopped going to school...then under Degree/Diploma Incomplete or Didn't Graduate (if it doesn't fit when you type it, you can leave it blank, print it and then handwrite your response).

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

I agree with both of the above posts. :thumbs:

If the beneficiary is still in college but has not yet completed their degree put the appropriate dates then "IN PROGRESS"

If the beneficiary attended but then left college without completing, again put in the appropriate dates then "INCOMPLETE"

IMO it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck!

QUESTION ON DS-230 (JUST PLANNING AHEAD)

I was just filling this out for my Wife... and wanted to ask couple questions.

Question # 1

Currently on question # 10 I have my current address... but on Question # 11 on where does she want here GC sent...

can I leave it blank? because I don't know where I will be staying when she comes to US, I'm planning on switching jobs hence I'm not sure.

Questin # 2

Regarding question # 22 & 27 - her parents addresses, well she lives with her parents...

so can I write "SAME AS MINE" or do I need to write down their address again

(doing this I will need to Attach Extra Sheet of Paper as it will not fit in the give space)

Question # 3

Regarding question # 43... Yes I would like her to receive SSN...

so will they send the SSN card to my address even though I'm planning to move...

or can I wait and apply for her SSN# & GC at a same time on later day.

*** I'm Sure I'll have more Question to come but for time being i think these are enough... lol..

I filled the same address in Q#10 for Q#11. At interview time, if it is different, complete a new DS-230 and submit to the CO.

Write full address by black ink pen, so it will fit.

SSN will be sent to the same address as GC. Normally, there is another form in Packet4 for SSN to fill up at the interview time. Again, any change of address can be mentioned in new DS-230 at interview time.

this is just out of the blue... did u notice on ur "Ticker Factory Countdown Clock" its say 2 Months & 2 Weeks...

but going by your filing date which is July 19th...

it should say "2 Months 2 Weeks 5 Days"

just a thought...

The address can also be changed once the beneficiary arrives in the US by filling out a form AR11. I hope i am correct.

Petitioner will file I-865 and the beneficiary AR-11 for any change of address.
