He claimed to have been there....

many claim many things... where is the due diligence for the proof?

Many ppl do not support war. I for one do not support it (war) for many reasons... the main one is that there is no real "winner" at the end of a conflict.. only someone who hasn't lost as much as the other guy.

Is due diligence required for leftist attacks on Bush or the U.S. military?

OK if he's a fake... my bad (F)

There are, however, others who have had the same experiences and opinions I'm sure.

What about the thousands of muslims that have been killed by other muslims? Do people seriously think that if the US pulled out this would stop??

Hey, war is not favoured by most but what do you do with an enemy who believes he has GODS will to kill as many non-muslims or so-called weak muslims as possible? An enemy, who if he had a button that could destroy all of America would press it without any hesitation, followed by Europe and then India.. There is no reasoning with this sort of mentality.. This is not a battle of ideology, such as those fort during the 20th century.. This is a battle such as that fort by India and Greece who were butchered and enslaved for 400 years by muslims..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

While this is a good question, I think the more appropriate question at this point is whether or not it will make any difference.

My position on this war has gone from:

Support entirely, which fell once the WMDs weren't found, to the stance that we have an obligation to stay to protect the Iraqi citizens from the insurgents until the Iraqi government can do the job.

But now that Zarqawi has been killed, it seems like an even bigger problem has taken front stage- The Sunnis and Shiites attacking each other. Now, I am totally confused on where the U.S can stand on this. The Shiites are more loyal to the likes of Iran and Hezbollah, which the U.S is clearly against-and whom are clearly against the U.S. The Sunnis are the group that spawned Sadaam and most of the Bath Party, so it's hard to imagine there is overwhelming support for us there. Heck, the current Prime Minister in Iraq takes an entirely contrary position on Israel than do we. So this leaves the Kurds, who are being targeted by the Turks- an ally of the U.S.

So, who is left in Iraq that supports us being there? I truly think we have an obligation to protect the citizens that we were supposed to have liberated there, but I'm beginning to wonder if they actually want us there now, and even so, do we even have the power to protect them anymore? Are our soldiers now just getting caught in a crossfire that we are powerless to stop? What am I supposed to think now?

I doubt it. The guy said that he killed 200 civilians by himself. When are you going to get it that the Americans are the GOOD guys there?
