I was aware that CSC is about two weeks behind.Recently they updated their mass volume charts, giving the info about the month of July (according to their website their received our package on July 1st ).

Putting up the statics about the month of July would indicate that they have already gone through all packages received on July, correct?

Because if so,we haven't received our second notice of action yet.

Feel free to educate me on that.We send our package in June, according to them they received it in July that would make next month the fifth month that our package is in CSC and we still haven't got anything.

TIA

Next month is not five months. It is five months from July which would be December.

Five months would be December. Your package wasn't received until July. There is nothing you can do to speed up the process. June filers haven't even been processed yet.

My only suggestion is that from now on and for all VJ members, pay the extra fee for (REGISTERED) mail.It is absolutely vital and will give you the piece of mind in knowing it arrived safely. If you don't send your mail registered when you send off the requested info to your consulate you will have no way of knowing if it arrived.

If you have your NOA1 then you know your package was accepted.

I think you are misreading the data. "Receipts" for the month of July means how many petitions, etc they received that month. Whether those petitions have been approved or not does that factor into that number. It's just the number received. "Cases pending", as reported, does not mean JUST the cases submitted in July. It means the sum total of cases they currently have open, no matter when they were submitted. That includes cases they're still working on that were submitted months ago. So the as-yet-unapproved June, May, April, etc cases are included in that number. Same with cases "approved". That includes applications submitted in previous months that were finally approved IN THE MONTH OF JULY.

I'm the USC petitioner.

Thanks for clearing this up - i too was wandering the ins and outs of the stats. We have to remember these stats are only based on VJ timelines. Really we have no idea when each of ours will come through. Horrible waiting game but I am trying really hard to be more positive about things and just think that the more you wait, the closer to completion you are :)

The OP (and therefore, I, as well) was referring to data published by USCIS, not VJ timelines. They are two different ballgames. VJ timeline data is more specific about how many cases from any given month have been adjudicated, but then the sample size is limited to just the people who post on here and fill in their timelines. There are many many other filers out there who have no idea VJ exists.
