K1 Visa - what to do after NOA 1

So we received NOA 1 on July 21st. I was just curious if there something we could/should be doing while waiting for NOA2?

Should my fiance in Sweden have some sort of a medical checkup? Is there additional documentation we should be preparing?

Any help would be appreciated.

you could start gathering docs for the interview like bank letter or w2s right now u are just waiting on the NOA2 he cant have his medical yet wait for the NOA2 for that check out the K1 guidelines here on VJ it will take you step by step there is a tab at the top of the page that says guides click on that and it will walk you through the steps of a K1 Good Luck

You could continue to gather evidence/proof of your relationship. You could also get another job and make more money to save for the expenses ahead!

Start talking about your civil ceremony, start making plans. It's useful, in case they ask at the interview about your plans. I don't know about the Consulate in Sweden, but that's what I would do. Gather the documents for financial support, gather your proof of ongoing relationship, make a photo album for the interview. There are a lot of things to do while waiting for NOA2 that can actually help you move things faster, because you'll be ready with everything when the interview comes. The medical exam will be made after the petition reaches the Consulate.

I am also waiting for NOA2. Two passport photos is required to bring to the interview. This is something you can work on. Medical exams and police certificates you should till your approval.
