Its good to be back here once again, sure thing VJ was a big help to our CR1 & CR2's visa journey back then & we shall be forever grateful to this website; the organizers and members who never fails to help and give us the information we need. Just a short update: our ROC packet finally sent last Friday, September 03, 2010 and USCIS received it on the 7th. We are praying for a speed process because we need to go home to Philippines my mother is very ill and in serious condition. I want to see her for the last time...hope God will hear our prayers.

05/07/2008 : NOA2 (Approved)

05/14/2008 : NVC assigned MNL Case No.

05/26/2008 : NVC Generates AOS & IV Bill

06/02/2008 : Online Payment AOS & IV Bill

06/04/2008 : Printed I-864; DS-230 & Barcoded coversheet

06/12/2008 : Sent I-864 & DS-230 Packets to NVC via USPS (overnight)

06/13/2008 : NVC received the Packets

06/16/2008 : NVC entered the I-864 & DS-230 into the system

06/19/2008 : CR2 Case Completed while CR1 got RFE DS-230 #2 & #20

Hi,

If you complete your biometrics, you are able to travel while the ROC application is pending. You will receive a NOA which extends your GC by 1 year and will allow you to travel.

Keep it in mind since this is something that is important for you to do...

Hello, yeah I am waiting for the NOA1 but I guess I have to wait also for the Biometrics and aside from that I'm kinda' scared to travel thinking what if we might get an RFE, USCIS sometimes do that though I am sure about our documents given the evidence we submitted. Still I am hesitant to travel, worst scenario to get an RFE, we are 9,850 miles away from US, it will be really a pain in the butt. Thanks for your concern & help, appreciate it a lot. God bless.
