When a beneficiary is required to submit additional documents, the Embassy usually sends the visa packet COD (cash on delivery). That's what happened with Chinook and me.

However, your case may have ended up in administrative processing for a while. If so, it may take from a few days to a few months to get your visa.

I am in the same situation.. my girl had to submit a new NBI with here AKA on it, just one letter of her middle name changed. She did that rigyht away in person a 4 days after her interview. Does this mean we now that its going to take another 60 days for them to look at it?

@snickers450 what was it that you had to re-submit?

No. It does not mean that it's going to take another 60 days. It means that the beneficiary could receive her visa any day...today....tomorrow...next week...next month...or in two months. Chinook received her visa in four business days.

Good luck!

Call the DOS. They can tell you for sure whether it's been marked approved or not. 202-663-1225 (1 for main menu, 0 for operator)
