No Letter about transfer to Cali

Our papers were recieved in Nebraska on June 24 but I havent heard that they have been transfered to Cali. I am waiting for my NOA2. Shouldnt I have gotten a letter by now saying that they are moving them to Cali?

If you say you're waiting for your NOA2, did you get your NOA1 from Nebraska?

Yes..we got out NOA1 from Nebraska. But now everyone says they arent processing them in Nebraska. But I havent gotten anything from USCIS saying that they are going to move it to Cali

If you got your NOA1 from nebraska, are you watching your status online? That would have told you when they transfered it. Also, your IMBRA RFE would have went back to CSC if thats where your case is.

Maybe that will help a little.

If you say you're waiting for your NOA2, did you get your NOA1 from Nebraska?

Yeah, you got your NOA1 from nebraska? I got mine from Cali, and we sent them about the same time to NSC. Weird.

However, they didn't notify me about the move, so perhaps they NOA1'd you and then sent it on, in a classic USCIS disorganized mess? That's my guess.

With her timeline, she's not going to have an IMBRA RFE, I'm guessing. The online status did not inform me of the move, either.

You know what...I just read that I should double check that address on the NOA1 and that it might have just been sent on to Cali without notification...I bet that is what happened.

This is definitely a strange case. Normally, the petition will reach Nebraska, Nebraska would automatically forward the petition to California, then the NOA1 would come from California.

I'd definitely call on this one.

You got an NOA1 from Nebraska because your petition reached Nebraska when they were still processing K-1 petitions.

It might be OK though because the OP and I were in the first batch of auto-forwarded petitions filed with the new form. And yes check that form again! It might say California
