Query About Receipts!

Hello All!

As could be seen from my time-line, we applied for my I-130/AOS/EAD/AP concurrently on the 10th of August'2010. We got the emails/texts on the 24th of August, and in all there were 3 unique receipt numbers in the texts/emails. On calling USCIS, I was informed that the NOAs were sent out to me on the 24th August too, but as of today I haven't received them in my post. I called USCIS up to ask for expediting my Advance Parole and they told me that I don't have an application for Advance Parole, after checking the 3 receipt numbers! We had applied for AP in the same package as everything else.

What could have happened? And why haven't I received the NOAs in my mail yet? Does it take so long normally? Thank you everyone!

I got to the Tier-2 officer when I called, and she said all I could do is file for I-131 again, as it is not in the system! She asked me to mail the copies of the three NOAs along with I-131 and a covering letter to the National Benefits Center. Does it mean they have lost my I-131 application? Is there no way out of this? What else can I possibly do?

eh - i think is some 'timing issue', really.

I don't think they've lost it, since you have receipt notices.

if you need emergency AP, though - get that through an INFOPASS appointment , instead.

So I should play the waiting game for now, right? Well, for the emergency AP, they said I should wait until I get my biometrics done. The letter for the appointment has been sent out on the 27th, so I shall try for a walk-in when it arrives. But, until when do you suggest I should wait before i 're-file' my I-131? They checked in the system, but could not find my Advance Parole application using all the three receipt numbers!
