Hi all, I've searched through the forums but I can't seem to find this specific situation so I thought I'd ask the experts directly!

I am moving back to the US on October 16 but would like to get our application in the mail as soon as we can. I know that I can inform the USCIS regarding a change of address, but considering it's only just over six weeks away, it seems like such a hassle and I'm worried about missing mail that is sent here once I leave. I've seen mention before of a 'care of' option on the I-129f form but it doesn't see to be a specific option on the most recent form.

Would it be possible to fill out the form with the address I'm moving to in the US (it's my parents' house) as a c/o address or would this just confuse things? I don't want any problems with mail going astray but don't want to put false information on the form either. Best to be completely honest always!

You would use the address where your living at - if it's your parents - that is what you use. (for the initial K-1 mailing)

When you move to your own place (if you do), then you can change your address at that time (I would actually do it when I send in the AOS paperwork).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Sorry may not have been clear, I'm currently living in a rented flat in Scotland. Will be moving to my parents' house in the United States on October 16 and can use that address from then on.

I would be using that address in the US.

I'd start off with your parents address and have everything go there starting now. The only thing you/they will get is a NOA1 receipt notice unless you screw up on the application [like forgetting to sign]and you'd get it returned or get a RFE.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
