I've driven in and around the TX, NM and AZ border with only my K-1 sticker in my passport and have never had an issue. The city I live in is a couple hundred miles away from the Mexican border, and have never had a problem.

That said, I think so long as you drive fine/have all of your ID stuff with you, there's shouldn't be a problem. Hope your roadtrip is fun!-Arizona is a beautiful state to whiz through with some music on :)

I just got back from my trip to AZ and NM: everything ok.

by the way, while I was driving through the Grand Canyon State, I received 3 text messages informing that USCIS had received my file. And tonight when I got home, I found the 3 NOAs in the mail :)

I tried them, but I'm not really a big fan of enchiladas. I prefer chile relleno. We had a great time and of course ate way too much :) so now back on a diet in healthy California.

Oh by the way we will be moving up north in the bay area in a couple of months.
