IV BIl twice and different amount + which one to pay

My wife has received IV bill on May 7, 2010 for $400 but due to failurs of our own we made our first payment after july 13( i think new fee installed after this date). Our line payment failed, saying in process but the receipt is showing rejected..Then we used money order for IV $400 bill payment.Meanwhile we got new IV payment on August 10,2010 for $404. Which is 4 dollar more than previous. Which one is the right amount we should pay? Do we have to pay the difference or send a new payment afresh. Please i was just an outisder to this fourum but this problem urged me to participate...Please do need your help

$404.00 is what needs to be paid. even if you paid $400.00 and was accepted you'd be required at pay the $4.00 difference the day of the interview.

My payment has not got accepted yet, i could not find confirmation online..still says "NOT PAID". And it has been two weeks. I would be happy if someone clarify this thing for me. It still difficult to get them on the phone

If it has been 2 weeks after online payment and still shows 'NOT PAID', it is an issue.

Best way is phone contact. If you don't get it, emailing would be better as well.

NVC would advise if you need to pay the difference or not.

Just keep trying, calll them at 10pm cst should be no wait times.

I have called them 2times last week and this past monday and got thru when I asked about the receipt of my documents.

If you send your IV payment for $400 and if they give you SIF and send your documents IV and AOS to Addis Ababa, US embassy. Your wife, she'll be ask to pay the difference at US embassy in Eth Birr or USD.

Finally it is sorted out, thanks to GOD. They accepted $404 payement for IV. You should pay the latest generated IV payment, and as one VJ memember suggested to me, if you have already paid the $400 you pay the difference, or required to pay the difference when your documents arrive here. Meanwhile I have already sent my documents for IV long ago...filled and signed on June 18, after the first IV payment generated...Do I have to change this form, but the form is still recent one??
