Well family, NVC has sent our file off to the embassy in Lagos. Looks like we have a whole

slew of folks here getting ready for the interview...I am looking for a little assistance.

I know it has been given before to others so I'm just looking for additional input.

Complete I-129f packet..with original/certified documents

NOA 1-2

New Intent to marry letter- notarized

I-134 - notarized

Employment letter and salary log

Tax returns.....2001-2005

401k statement

Home Value assessment

Phone records

Travel documentation

email- we have over 500 saved but I'm only sending about 40 plus a log of all the rest

IM chats- I have saved all 175 but am only including 2 from every month for the past year and a half

(cant figure out how to print up the log of all of them with the date time stamps its saved to my

briefcase so if anyone can tell me how to print screen that would be great)

Phone records- cards and call logs

Photo album - 30 pictures

Photo sheet of all pictures I took on my trips

Have I forgotten anything?

I have several bank accounts and a life insurance policy should I include these too?(my salary is

Congrats!!! It sounds like you have things covered. For our RFE they requested a copy of every page in my (the USC) passport. I don't know why and I don't think that is standard, but it couldn't hurt.

Best Wishes.

Just a heads up: Make sure your certified copies are certified by their standards. This is not simply noterized and certified by the notery that it is an orgional copy. The Nigerian "certified" copies are basically new ones from the office the origional one's came from of the origional ones. This is something we got an RFE for. But, after reading more of your entry I see that it is at the embassy, so that probably is already done with. Well, I'll leave it up in case new people want the info. Other than that, and what has been said, it looks good.

Well as for the Birth and Divorce certificates those are original and have the official raised seal of the issuing government department and is in Seguns documents I am sending to him for the nterview. The original petition had US notary stamps on these documents.
