The smaller version should be fine! You know hubby didn't have his original a few years ago so we had to get him a copy and I thought about that same question. I got the long version because I figured that I'm paying already so I might as well get that long one!

Regarding my husband's birth certificate, do I need to get the large copy or is the wallet size version okay for this purpose?

Never heard of a wallet size, neat, but as long as its original, if they even want to see it. As strict as my wife IO was with everything else, didn't want to see my birth certificate or passport, she had both of them.

Recall like yesterday, our first AOS visit to the field office, when my wife saw all those armed guards, she went brain dead and was scared stiff. But after that interview, three biometrics, a couple of infopass appointments, she was perfectly clam and very professional at her citizen interview.

As long as you don't have any deep secrets, you have nothing to worry about. We had friends that didn't have the required evidence, sent that in later with no fine, but a delay, you look okay on this. Also a friend that couldn't answer 6 out of 10 questions, went back for a retest. Inconvenient, but they made it. Review all the test questions and answer on the drive over, we did that twice, wife snapped back the first six answers instantly. But she forgot most of them the next day, that is very typical in cramming for a college exam, LOL.

Just relax, still have your ten year card, so not like you are going to be here illegally. Really would be a shame if you blow it just because you are nervous and go brain dead. Hope your IO is nice and helps you to relax.

Thanks NickD!

My last touch was when they transfer my case to local office on 7/22/2010. For the VJers who already had their interview, was there any touches right before the interview?

write the answers on your palm like sarah palin or buy my patented microchip spectacles that show a heads up display of all the answers and scroll down by moving your eyelashes down or clearing your throat.

Caution:

don't try this at home...and the McDonald's coffee can scald if you throw it in the baby's face
