Hello

I was wondering how do we get updates of our case by email before we get the hard copy

Thanks

You can turn on "Email Alert" in your account under USCIS case status site. But I don't know each and every "pat" would trigger an email.

Loto

CSC - I-130 for Parents (IR5)

10/11/2011 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

10/13/2011 - Delivered at Chicago Lockbox

10/17/2011 - Email received with Receipt#, Routed to CSC

10/18/2011 - Cleared the checks $420*2

10/21/2011 - Received NOA1

03/30/2012 - Received NOA2

NVC

04/19/2012 - NVC received

05/01/2012 - Case# generated

05/02/2012 - DS-3032 COA emailed

05/02/2012 - I-864 AOS Fee $88 paid

05/05/2012 - I-864 AOS package mailed to NVC

05/07/2012 - I-864 AOS package received by NVC

05/07/2012 - DS-3032 COA accepted

05/08/2012 - DS-230 IV Fee $230*2 paid

05/09/2012 - DS-230 IV package mailed to NVC

05/11/2012 - DS-230 IV package received by NVC

05/17/2012 - Case Completed

Consulate

07/02/2012 - VFS visit in Cochin

07/04/2012 - Medical in Chennai

07/12/2012 - Interview in Mumbai - Success!

09/08/2012 - POE at JFK, NY

Thank you Loto, i just created an account, added the case number to it, and turned email alerts on for the case, so i don't have to check back on the website

I hate to burst your bubble, but many people have not received text or email alerts on updates. The USCIS website is very unreliable for this. My wife has been approved now for almost a month, and still our "case status" reads the same. I hope you are luckier than us.

Engaged : 11/25/2009

Married : 02/12/2010

I-130 NOA 1: 03/21/2010

RFE : NONE

I-130 NOA 2 : 7/19/2010 (no touch's, no emails, no text notifications) Received Hard copy in mail 7/26 2010.

NVC Received : 8/02/2010

AOS Bill : 8/03/2010 ( Received Via Email after calling on 8/2/2010 )

Paid AOS Bill : 8/04/2010 ( Paid Invoice electronically )

AOS shown as paid : 8/05/2010

Mailed DS-3032 : 8/05/2010

Mailed I-864 pkg : 8/06/2010

NVC Receive i-864 : 8/09/2010

NVC Receive DS-3032 : 8/09/2010

IV Bill (available for pay): 8/20/2010

IV Bill Paid : 8/20/2010

IV Bill Shows Paid! : 8/23/2010 (just waitin for the docs from my wife now) should be here next week!

IV Package Sent Finally: 9/04/2010 (due to arrive 9/7)

Received checklist : 9/06/2010 (they are looking for the IV package) hmmm, ummm, I KNOW! So was I!

IV Package on AVR : 9/10/2010

Received Checklist 9/28/2010 (said PCC not in correct format)

Case Complete 10/13/2010 ( have not received replacement PCC from wife yet to send into NVC, How can this be?) I'm not complaining!

Interview 11/08/2010

PS As of 9/11/2010, USCIS website still not updated, shows NOA-1 date and... blah blah blah. don't count on them folks.
