Hi, well, my wife did great. Passed her naturalization interview with flying. She received a letter stating "congratulations" that she had passed and so on. But she did not receive any information on the ceremony. Is this normal? The officer said it would be in about a month but a week and a half later, we hear nothing. We were at the west palm beach fl office...thanks for any info!!

First, congratulations  .

Second, yes, it is quite normal not to receive any information about the oath ceremony at the actual interview. Unless the oath ceremony is going to be scheduled within the 2 weeks immediately following the interview, you will generally wait to receive a letter inviting her to the oath ceremony on such and such a date at such and such a place. They try to accumulate a number of people to take the oath at the same time, You generally receive the oath notification letter about 2 weeks before the actual ceremony so I think you should be hearing something within the next week or so if she is going to be scheduled in that ceremony. Some people have had to wait several months before they get their actual ceremony - generally due to few people naturalizing in that area - but in Florida that shouldn't be a problem. As hard as it is, just be patient a little while longer. If 3 weeks passes and you haven't heard anything, you could try calling the Mis-information line and ask them if they have any information posted yet about a ceremony date.

Good luck.
