Start worrying at 30 days. Call the NVC number and DO NOT use the automated system. Be sure you speak to an operator/live person to ask if your case has made it to the NVC yet.

Good luck.

Naturalization N-400

Call the NVC once a week to updated your status since you already approved.I say once a week cuz they will get mad if you call everyday. And also try to send an email to NVC for your status.Hang in there, and better prepair your documents for future.

My I129F noticed of approval was recieved on 6th-- I called NVC yesterday to ask for my MNL Case #, they were able to provide with my MNL Case # but I don't have the letter yet from NVC. As long as you have you MNL Case #, you can go ahead an request for an interview appointment, but make sure you have two weeks prior to your interview date so you can -- have you medical get done.

NVC received my case within a week after it was approved. I would call them today and ask, if they don't show a record of it then you need to start finding out where its at. Although they tell you it can take up to 4 weeks it usually doesn't take that long ( and there have been a few cases on here lately that USCIS claimed they sent the case to NVC when actually they lost it!!). They will be able to tell you if the case has been sent to the embassy also, if they still have the case ask if you're in AP. If they have sent the case, ask when it was sent to the embassy. You can call the embassy to confirm they received it, or call DOS (look on Darnell's profile for the number) and they can tell you as well if it was received by the embassy. I was in AP @ NVC for 3 weeks, and I called daily, and as long as you're polite they don't care. When I wasn't getting any answers from them I called DOS and received more info from them.
