Change of Address Prior to filing I-485

After my wife got her K1 Visa and prior to her arriving in the US, I moved to a new house. When I filed the I485 we used the new address on all the documentation however the old K1 documentation would have still show the old address. Is there any reason to file a change of address form if I filed the I-485 with the new address?

I'm only concerned because it has been over a month and I haven't received anything except the NOA1 for the I485. Website still says accepted, but I was expecting a Biometrics appointment by now.

Im not sure on the timeline for biometrics, but if you got your NOA1 then i wouldnt worry about address changing.. If you are worried you could fill out the change of address form on the USCIS website. I did.

I was in the same situation, but i already got my biometrics letter. You should have it soon.

Well that is good and I noticed on other posts that sometimes the biometrics letter will come over 8 weeks later. I just noticed that my daughter's I485 is in Initial Review status while my wife's I485 is still in Accepted status even though I filed them together. The difference is that my daughter doesn't require biometrics. I would have expected them to stay together and have the same status while everything is happening.

We moved between my POE and filing AOS. We didn't send in a change of address form and still received all correspondence regarding the AOS. I'm not saying it was the right thing to do (especially if you're the sponsor and haven't sent in the I-865) but we haven't had any problems as yet. We just moved again and did send in change of address forms and filled in the online form as we have an application in progress.
